"Off to Nepal"

I can’t say it any better than Hilath did on his blog. I too, just like him, am off to Nepal for a conference. However, due to the controversial nature of who I am, gay-witch-hunters & my safety, I cannot reveal what the conference is about or when exactly it is, but expect good things when I return.

Cheers, Peace & Thanks!

"

Try for a moment to accept the idea that you are not what you believe yourself to be, that you overestimate yourself, in fact that you lie to yourself. That you always lie to yourself every moment, all day, all your life. That is lying rules you to such an extent that you cannot control it any more.

You are the prey of lying, You lie, everywhere. Your relations with others- lies. The upbringing you give, the conventions- lies. Your teaching- lies. Your theories, your art- lies. Your social life, your family life- lies. And what you think of yourself- lies also.

But you never stop yourself in what you are doing or in what you are saying because you believe in yourself.

You must stop inwardly and observe. Observe without preconceptions, accepting for a time this idea of lying. And if you observe in this way, paying with yourself, without self-pity, giving up all your supposed riches for a moment of reality, perhaps you will suddenly see something you have never before seen in yourself until this day.

You will see that you are different from what you think you are. You will see that you are two. One who is not, but takes the place and plays the role of the other. And one who is, yet so weak, so insubstantial, that he no sooner appears than he immediately disappears. He cannot endure lies. The least lie makes him faint away. He does not struggle, he does not resist, he is defeated in advance.

Learn to look until you have seen the difference between your two natures, until you have seen the lies, the deception in yourself. When you have seen your two natures, that day, in yourself, the truth will be born.

"being queer means leading a different sort of life. It’s not about the mainstream, profit-margins, patriotism, patriarchy, or being assimilated. It’s not about executive director, privilege and elitism. It’s about being on the margins, defining ourselves; it’s about gender-fuck and secrets, what’s beneath the belt and deep inside the heart; it’s about the night"

We Stand Against “Rainbow Maldives” Which Is Trying To Create A LGBTIQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex and Questioning) Environment In The 100% Muslim Country Maldives

“The Rainbow Maldives” Is A Group Run By Unknown Maldivians Who Has No Respect For The Religion Of The Maldives. They Say That ‘Fear and silence are the greatest enemies of change’ Yet Their True Identities Are Still Concealed Behind Fake Facebook Accounts.

●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬●

An Admin Of The Group Has Been Found To Say:
” Dear Mother & Father
I hate you both for trying to turn me into a hateful person.
I will never follow Islam, ever, and homosexuality does exist in nature, therefore making it “natural”. How dare you say Islam is a religion of peace when you can’t… “

●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬●

The Maldivian Society Is Facing More And More Issues Of This Sort Like Animal Abuse, Child Abuse, And So On. We Believe A Group Such As “Rainbow Maldives” Would Only Help Fuel This Silent Fire And Thus, Turn It Into A Deadly Wildfire. Let Us All Take Action Before That.

The Identities Of Those Responsible For This Group Remains Unknown To This Very Day. However, We Will Try Day And Night To Uncover Their True Identities And Then Take Severe Action Against Them In Front Of The Public! Inorder For Us To Succeed, We Need Your Support. This is the description for “Against Rainbow Maldives”.

Do they realise how fucked up they are? We’re only here to provide a safe space for the ever discriminated LGBT peoples of Maldives and these fucks have gone ape shit over it.

Homosexuality, really is the least of their problems. They should probably think about tackling such important things like the youth being lost to drugs, or bigotry, hypocrisy or even religious extremism.

Among the many issues facing our beautiful cuntry, how about, instead of hating of us, you addressing why youse are so messy? DO you have to litter all the time? Its fucking filthy, especially when it rains, when all the trash and the rubbish floats around because of blocked drainage? Who’s fault is that? The homos? I think its everybody’s regardless of sexual orientation. We could work together to eliminate this issue, but no.

Some of the comments on this group, I swear.. role reversal much? The saddest part of all of this is, you hateful people will never realise the irony of it all. And if only they would listen to their own advice.

The Maldivian society is currently facing a spiritual disease called “Self Righteousness” syndrome. Along with a sense of superiority, it is a characteristic that most Muslims have in the modern world. Maldivians especially, should recognise this disease and  follow the Islamic principles and judge issues based on merit rather than the personalities, religions or countries involved.

Live and let live, assholes. Your religion for you and mine for me. Our little anti-hate community will ultimately prevail over your hateful, bigoted community. So, you keep doing what you’re doing and we will keep doing what we’re doing.

You will never silence us.

"Being yourself is the key to happiness. Why an unhappy life? be who the fuck you are ;) and dress, wear and say what you want. There will always be people who will not understand you, and that is their problem. Their brains may be closed to the truth .. and the truth is that everyone has the right to live how they are and not everyone is the same. And people should see you for who you are not what you are."

"There is a clear double standard when it comes to men, women, and hair removal. Now, perhaps you think shaving and waxing is a vapid issue to bring up, considering the more serious double standards of pay inequity, sexuality, and the like. But the fact is, spending the better part of your life having to shave huge areas of your body just to be considered not disgusting is a big deal."
